This year will mark the ninth year of our LOC Christmas outreach where we make a difference and spread some Christmas joy in our community.  We will be  supporting:

 

South Bronx Santa Project

The Ladies of Charity will adopt 50 families as part of the South Bronx Santa Project. Families who receive help as part of the Santa project depend on these donations, which in many cases may be the only gifts “under the tree”.

Jeanne Jugan Residence

We will be providing gifts to 35 residents and the religious staff of the Jeanne Jugan home for seniors. 

St. Vincent DePaul Residence

We will be providing small gifts to residents in assisted care and the nursing home of the St. Vincent DePaul Archcare residence in the Bronx. This is the first year we will be providing gifts to these financially vulnerable residents.

Providence Rest Home

We will again be providing small gifts to approximately 200 residents of Providence Rest residence in the Bronx run by Archcare.

Staten Island Gifts of Comfort

Christmas-themed Gifts of Comfort will be delivered to the homebound and residents of nursing homes on Staten Island.
