Making a Difference in the lives of the homebound and residents of nursing homes
Sponsor a Gift of Comfort
The purchase of items included in each Gift of Comfort is supported by donations and fundraising. You can help by sponsoring a Gift of Comfort in honor or memory of a loved one. Each sponsorship is $45 . Thank you.
Inspired by the layette ministry the Gifts of Comfort ministry provides practical and gift items to the homebound and residents of nursing homes.
A Gift of Comfort contains personal care products, stationery, stamps and a special handmade item.
Items are purchased with funds raised as part of dedicated fundraising events and contributions.
Gifts of Comfort are packed and delivered by LOC members and volunteers to homebound members of the community and residents of local nursing homes.
