Our Mission: We provide practical and spiritual support to those facing life’s challenges: illness, isolation and unmet immediate needs through member and  volunteer efforts and donor generosity

Handmade knitted and crocheted items are essential elements in our layettes and gifts of comfort. From the infant sweater sets, baby afghans, hat and socks to the lap robes and pocket scarves for seniors, each handmade item is lovingly created by an LOC member or volunteer. 

Whether you're an experienced knitter or an absolute beginner, all level of expertise are needed. For those wanting to learn, we are happy to supply help and patterns for the most in demand items.
